I am currently studying service management. In a demoscript service management, in page 16, I read as follows:

Could you explain to me what are the functionality regarding to the wikipedia statement, I mean in service management, I could use what tables or form to conduct the preventative maintenance..?

Deactivate Change Tracking on SQL server (Performance tuning)

Have a customer with performance problems. They have a SQL consultant looking into SQL performance. He says that Change Tracking is activated on database, and that gives performance issues.
Can we deactivate Change Tracking on SQL database without problems for the running NAV 2018?
Are there any other areas to do performance tuning?

This is an initial solution for missing ACTIVATE function in RTC. The trick was possible using .NET Extensibility feature of Dynamics NAV plus a lot of reflection investigation of private assemblies.
Tested with Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 IT

Dynamics 365 Business Central App not working on Android: 'Server connection timeout occurred'
Hi everyone,
I am trying to launch the Dynamics 365 Business Central on Android via Azure server but I kept on getting the error message
'Server connection timeout occurred'. I did install the new self-signed certificate on Android but it seems that the Business Central app doesn't recognize the certificate. I checked Settings > Security > Advanced security settings > Trusted Certificate, and the certificate was there.
I did a lot of googling and tried many different solutions that people posted online, but it still didn't work.
The certificate is .cer file, and it is completely working fine.
However, I tried on my co-worker's iPhone and it worked completely well.
Can anyone give me any feedbacks or solutions to this? or is it just me not working with Androids?

How to import Business Central Custom Report
As I understand it, you create a custom report by exporting via finsql with a new command and then convert that text file to al code using txt2al. Once you have generated the rdlc file via Visual Studio code, you can now make modifications and publish the report for Business Central client usage.
Let's say I exported Sales Invoice and created Custom Sales Invoice. Is there a way to then import Custom Sales Invoice back into the OnPrem so that it is in the File object list? Is there a reverse process like AL2txt? Thanks.

Hi,
I'm having problems updating records using OData web services on Business Central. I've published a couple of pages, 21 and 518, as OData web services. The both return json perfectly, and I can set filters also. However, when updating, I get an HTTP 405 - Method Not Allowed. The the event viewer on the NAV server the following error is logged:
Message (NavODataMethodNotAllowedException): RootException: NavODataMethodNotAllowedException
Entity does not support insert.
The user I use to access the web service is super, so I don't think the issue is related to permissions. Could I be missing some settings in the setup?
